Nicolet College community meetings
designed to gather public input

Area residents are invited to Nicolet College Community Meetings Monday, April 21, in Crandon and Friday, April 25, in Rhinelander for conversations about the college and ways Nicolet can work with local partners to strengthen learning opportunities in the area.

The Crandon meeting will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Best Western Inn and Suites, located at the intersection of highways 8 and 32 near Crandon . The Rhinelander meeting will take place at the Holiday Inn on Bus. Hwy. 8 in Rhinelander.

Both meetings will start with a light breakfast at 8:30 a.m. followed by small group conversation from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

“Most importantly, I'd like to hear from people about ways Nicolet can continue working with local residents, businesses, and institutions to improve educational offerings in the area,” said Nicolet College President Adrian Lorbetske, who will lead the meeting.

Nicolet regularly gets community feedback from academic program advisory groups, community leaders, business and industry contacts, K-12 education professionals, and others. The upcoming meetings are designed to get additional input from those sources as well as from the general public.

The Nicolet College District includes all of Oneida , Vilas and Forest counties, and portions of Lincoln, Langlade, and Iron counties.

People planning on attending can RSVP by calling 715-365-4512 or 1-800-544-3039, ext. 4512.
